To be in position we are now moving back up to Camp 2 tomorrow (hopefully the last 3:30 AM wake-up call...), have a rest day at Camp 2 on Thursday, then move to Camp 3 on Friday, and to Camp 4/ the South Col on Saturday, where we hope to arrive by lunchtime. The push to the summit would then be overnight from Saturday night to Sunday morning.
A typical summit day begins around 9 PM with eight or so hours walking to the summit to then have all day to return to Camp 4/ South Col which typically takes 4-5 hours.
Then again, the weather it might change its mind again and we could linger for a few days at Camp 2 or come back down to Base Camp. That's the way it is in the mountains. A lot of "ready... set....wait"...
Hopefully however, this is indeed the final push...
