Epilogue & Photos

Hello again everyone,

So it's now been two weeks back in London and I am starting to get used to life in civilization again. As a number of you have asked for some more photographic evidence, attached a link to a photo album and a few short video clips of the ascent up the mountain.

A selection of photos and some short and shaky clips:

I have also attached some fantastic aerial footage from a helicopter flight up from Base Camp that gives you an overview of the magnitude of the mountain scenery. It goes up to its max altitude at the foot of the Lhotse Face (about 6700m).

And finally, summit day video footage made by someone who had extra energy (and better weather...) to get out a video camera and add music to it. Luckily my summit time wasn't nearly as crowded as we were only four to enjoy this unforgettable moment.

Thank you again for all your messages of support and your generous donations to support the Sherpa community of Nepal.

All the best,
